The layered metalwork on the petals catches the light beautifully, making it look much more expensive than it is. It’s surprisingly lightweight for how substantial it feels, and the clasp held perfectly on a wool coat.

I’ve worn this brooch to two dinners now, and the sculpted petals catch a lot of compliments. The metal has a nice weight without being heavy, and the lustrous finish really helps the iris shape stand out against a dark jacket.
